The Friends of Haute Vallée is a charity affiliated to Haute Vallée School. The charity was established in 2022 and has three charitable purposes: 1. The advancement of education 2. The advancement of citizenship or community development 3. The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
What we've received

We are a community smallholding in the north of St Helier in Jersey. We have three pillars - building a resilient community, growing food for our community and farming regeneratively to support biodiversity. Overarching everything is education. We run three community open sessions a week and 8 school groups, as well as team building CSR events for companies and add hock events. We 120 fruit and nut trees, underplanted with fruit bushes and underplanted again with herbs and flowers. We have raised beds, teaching beds, and a polytunnel. Our wider plans have been approved by the Planning Department - community building with production kitchen, raised beds for mobility/disability, minibus parking, sensory garden, yurt, wildlife pond, forest school, bee hives and composting area.
