Working with partner agencies, Salvation Army, Housing Matters, Social Services and Debt Counselling we support people in an emergency. Now more than ever, in the current economic climate, there is a real need to provide Food Parcels to help people in difficulty in the Isle of Man – people who need a helping hand and support to get through a difficult time. Isle of Man Foodbank prepares food parcels for families and individuals who are referred to us when they are in crisis. Then, to help the person or family to get beyond the crisis, we point them to relevant support organisations such as Debt Management, Life Skills, Careers and Budgeting. This is a very real and urgent need within our community and we need your help which could come in a number of different ways. We're always glad to receive donations, whether in the form of items for the food parcels, or a money donation. You might like to volunteer as one of our wonderful drivers or on the contact phone. We also need people who can volunteer at special events.

We provide vital support to children, teens and families facing challenges in their lives. From bullying and finding school hard, to experiencing poverty, substance misuse, criminality or domestic abuse. We step in to bridge the gap in statutory provision at a critical point. Through one to one and small group support, linked to activities, we help children, teens and families reframe what’s happened. Turning difficult life experiences into a brighter future. We work across the Isle of Man, with much of it based at our farm and centre. Our approach turns lives around and makes our community stronger. It’s why we’re still here, one of the island’s oldest charities, established in 1868. You’ll find us working with the community, local services, charities, government agencies and schools.

Searching for missing persons, often at night and in poor weather, can be a slow and difficult undertaking. Time is of the essence and our fully qualified search teams can cover large areas of land very quickly. Our handlers and navigators are all unpaid volunteers and are critical component of the IoM Search & Rescue Group. We are also an associate member of the Mountain Rescue Council of England and Wales.
