How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, B&Q has donated products and volunteer time, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

FEAST

Tonbridge, UK

We are a registered charity with a board of Trustees, committed to helping those in food poverty in our area. As a volunteer-led charity with no paid staff, we are entirely reliant on the generosity of our supporters, our fundraising efforts, and grants. Also, we provided lunches for families and individuals at various times of the year. We have six founder members’ who run the charity. Over 120 volunteers make our operation possible (we have no paid staff). Generous churches and organisations allow us to use their premises, where we run our community larders, hygiene hub, lunches, and other activities. We collect surplus food from local supermarkets and buy food from FareShare (a UK-wide network of charitable food redistributors). We also purchase food ourselves.
