How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, B&Q has donated products and volunteer time, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Ronald McDonald House Oxford

Oxford, UK

Providing 'Home from Home' accommodation to families whilst their children are seriously ill in hospital. We have a 62 Bedroom House that provides support for families with children in Oxford Children's Hospital, and Neonatal Intensive Care. Families are given their own en-suite room free of charge for as long as their child is in hospital. We provide communal areas, kitchens and laundry facilities and have a wonderful garden that allows them to step away from the clinical environment of the wards. We remove the financial worry of staying close to their child and eliminate travel concerns by providing a warm comfortable space to rest and recharge whilst supporting them on their journey.
