The Craft Room is dedicated to sparking children's imaginations through free arts and crafts sessions. During school holidays and half terms, we offer exciting craft camps. These action-packed camps run for 4 hours and are packed with fun: Creative Crafts: We explore a variety of engaging arts and crafts projects, keeping young minds curious and hands-on. Active Play: We get moving with an hour of energetic physical activities, promoting a healthy balance. Nourishing Meals: A delicious hot meal is provided, along with education on healthy eating habits and tasty snacks, fuelling young bodies and minds. Our camps are completely free for children who qualify for income-related free school meals. This program is designed to support children who would benefit most from these enriching experiences. Our camps extends children's learning beyond the classroom with focused craft activities and the chance to use specialized equipment, giving children experiences they wouldn't typically find in school we want to spark their curiosity and innovate. Craft Activities we have provided so far: Diamond Painting Fimo Clay Sculpting Wooden Structures Assembling and Decorating Log Ring Wall Décor String Painting Decoupage Animal Objects Pom Pom Crafts Rock Painting Planting Sunflowers and much more.

In Partnership with Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Church we are opening a "My Local Pantry" to support local families in North Herts. We believe that nobody should go hungry. The Pantry is based on a Social Supermarket model where the community become members and for a small weekly fee they are able to shop at affordable prices enabling them to become more financially sustainable. We will also be offering debt, housing advice and other support services where needed. We will also have healthy eating/budget recipe cards available to help broaden food choices. We want to give away as much fruit, veg and nutritious food as possible. This is not a foodbank model but is a model aimed at reducing food insecurity. We will be open on a Friday from 2-4pm and Saturday 1-3pm and we will be operating in the Scout Hut in the carpark of the Catholic Church. We need plenty of fresh and chilled foods, flowers, plants, bread etc. "Best before" dates are fine but we can't take any "use by" dates. We are a registered food business and have corporate fridges & freezers to store the food.

Our Watford Hostel is part of our network of accommodation across the area that provides temporary accommodation for up to 18 months. People become homeless for a host of reasons, and our specialist staff work with each resident to tackle issues that may be a barrier to moving forward. Our team signposts to local services like GPs, community mental health teams and CGL. Watford Hostel offers a safe space to stay, and a temporary solution until people get back on their feet. Our goal is to reduce street homelessness and help people make a better future. We offer a warm, safe environment for residents, and support to break the cycle of homelessness. Our service users are men and women over 18 and we can offer 150 supported beds in Charter Hostel, as well as 44 bed spaces for MCISS – our Medium Complex Intensive Support Scheme. MCISS is a project that delivers intensive levels of support to vulnerable rough sleepers in Watford. Our facility provides mental health and substance abuse support to vulnerable people with the goal of setting them on the pathway to recovery and more independent living. The hostel is easy to access and is well located near to the town centre. It’s within walking distance of three railway stations – Watford Junction, the Metropolitan Line and the Overground and there is easy access to both the M1 and M25, as well as access to numerous bus routes. Our hostel offers holistic support to residents in a safe, secure environment. Our specialist team works closely with our residents, allowing them to live independently and take steps to rebuild their lives.
