B&Q Malvern

Lunches are held at Welland Parish Hall, Welland WR13 6LA We are NOT a charity but are certainly a not for profit organization of volunteers; we have no employees. Zest4Life Conversation & Laughter have continued to collect supermarket surplus food and do socially-distanced doorstep-drops, delivering in Malvern to anyone in need, particularly elderly (including Zest4Life Conversation & Laughter regulars) and parents struggling to feed themselves during the Covid crisis. Zest4Life Conversation & Laughter provides conversation, laughter, and lunch, preventing isolation, loneliness, and suicidal thoughts; we have been given awards for the work that our volunteers do by MHDC. We hope to re-introduce cultural elements to enable 'Inmates' as we call them to mindfully escape using a genre that suits their personality and situation; 'Musical Medicine being one successful element.

Bonterre CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company based a farm, just north of Worcester. Our aims are to improve wellbeing for children, young people and the wider community in Worcestershire and the West Midlands. We support children that have difficulties accessing mainstream education, whatever the reason. This can seriously impact their opportunities in life and their hopes for the future. We work with children with a range of educational and emotional needs that benefit from an alternative educational setting. We use the farm, animals and the natural environment as a means of engaging with children, helping to develop their life skills and raise their self belief. We also run a range of events for school groups and a community wellbeing programme, for those that may be experiencing loneliness, anxiety or depression. We help people grow (in all senses of the word!), to discover and share what they can do, to engage with their community and to move forward in their lives. We welcome volunteers that would like to get involved with the Bonterre project. This could be assisting with our work with children, or helping to maintain the farm and improve our site facilities. We'd also be grateful for donations and equipment that will help us expand the range of outdoor activities and services that we can offer. We're particularly in need of sports equipment, crafting materials, construction materials and horticultural supplies to enable us to provide a wider range of experiences for our students and community groups.

At Pencombe CofE Primary, we are really enthusiastic and passionate about recycling and reusing. We will therefore be using the materials for exciting school projects. We have a new outdoor learning environment with two trained forest school leaders that deliver regular sessions, a eco club and gardening club. We would love to build up more resources for these activities , so that the children can make the most of them. We have a newly dug pond, a fire circle, a bird watching area, a mud kitchen and a newly planted forest.
