Threshold DAS is an organisation committed to the elimination of violence and abuse of women, men, children and young people and those who are perpetrators through effecting political, cultural, and social change. We are a full-time youth facility and drop-in centre that provides a number of projects for young people aged 11-25 from Carmarthen and the surrounding rural areas . We provide a safe space for young people to meet and interact. We run a Grow it, Cook it, Transform it project where young people learn how to grow their own food and learn how to prepare healthy, affordable meals. We also run a community volunteering project, a health and well-being project, a Digilab and a young parents group and Transitionz Project for 8-11 year olds. We have an emphasis on Health and Well-being of young people and aim to make young people happier and healthier by offering new and exciting opportunities and activities.

Here in Carmarthen we are committed to helping the disadvantaged, lonely and marginalised in our local community. The drop in is open two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to around 12.45pm. We serve free tea and coffee between `10am and 11.45am and then serve a hot lunch sit down lunch at 12 noon.
