At witham town lunch club we provide a warm safe environment for our older members to meet, chat and enjoy a hot freshly prepared meal. Our aims are to reduce isolation and loneliness. We aim to improve nutrition and promote healthy minds in the elderly.

To relieve the condition of disadvantaged persons in mid-essex experiencing difficulties with homelessness, joblessness, substance misuse, physical and mental health problems, learning difficulties by the provision of support services to assist them in maintaining normal relationships with and within their community.

We support people that have been homeless with mental health issues to learn the skills they need to move forward with their lives. This is every aspect of independent living from sustaining a tenancy, living and budgeting skills, future employment , Mental and physical wellbeing and signposting to other services that may provide support. We also support them to get access to social housing and support them with the process from first applying to eventual move on making sure they have all the necessary skills to make a success of their future.
