B&Q Scunthorpe

Operating on the westcliff estate, scunthorpe, north lincolnshire, we provide a range of activities including activities for children and young people, information and signposting for community members, access to education and learning alongside a workclub giving unemployed people access to the internet for job search, cv preparation. we also support and advocate for members of the community.

We are North Lindsey College, Doncaster College, Doncaster University Centre, and University Campus of North Lincolnshire Our Foundation students at North Lindsey College would like to have a garden where they can grow fruit and vegetables that they can then use in cooking/life skills lessons however, they need a fenced off space to make sure their garden stays safe. Before lockdown in 2020 they had a garden, but due to no one being able to tend to it during lockdown, everything died. We are looking for some donations of wood to build a fence around the garden to separate it from other students.

We have created our very own Pantry within our school for parents and members of the community to access. Here, in partnership with FareShare we are able to provide various food items. We have been very fortunate to secure donations from various organisations which is very much appreciated. Your help with enable us to ensure that no family goes hungry and has full access to good nutritional foods.
