How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, B&Q has donated products and volunteer time, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

The King's Outreach - Naomi’s Garden

Louth, UK

Naomi’s Garden provides Conductive Education for children and adults with movement disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, Long Covid, Parkinsons and MS. We have also now expanded our field of expertise by taking on a new SEND consultant who specializes in meeting the need of children with autism, ADHD, and sensory disorders. We are currently raising money to refurb our new building so we can invite more families in! We have climbed mountains, jumped out of planes, cycled, jumped off buildings, sang, danced, and hiked to raise the money we have so far!

Daniel's Kitchen CIC

Louth, UK

We provide hot meals and household items for individuals and families in crisis. Our volunteers support in the cooking and delivery of these meals to people's homes. We also run a volunteer gardening group on Fairfield Industrial Estate. This group is run for anyone to come along to learn about gardening, growing your own fruit and veg and to enjoy outdoor activities. We run this group to help people with mental health problems or those suffering isolation, whilst creating more biodiversity in an urban area of town. We provide an inclusive mentoring service to support individuals but particularly ex offenders or those with mental health difficulties, learning challenges or physical difficulties, helping them to build resilience, self-esteem and confidence to lead independent and healthy lives.
