Our Vision We want everyone in Central Lancashire facing life-shortening illness to experience a good quality of life and, when the time comes, comfort and dignity in death. This means that care, support and information needs to be available when and where it matters most for each person and those important to them. Where desirable, we want to enable living and dying well at home. We believe that this can be achieved by organisations working together locally and where people, families, friends and neighbours have the opportunity and resources to help themselves and each other. We will continue to work hard with local communities, the NHS, charities, businesses, organisations and Hospice UK to fulfil this vision. Our objective is to reach out to our community and the nation with the love of God and the gospel of the kingdom, being the hand and feet of jesus to all. we carry out dance outreaches, midweek and sunday services, breaking of bread services, and other outreaches. we participate in street pastoring & committed to the unity of churches. we are big enough to accommodate everyone & to give all significance. We also carry out food outreaches where we give out food to the vulnerable in our community

CNOS is a local group initially set up to help the community as a result of the covid-19 pandemic in extremely difficult and unprecedented times. I work with a small team of volunteers to assist getting essential supplies to the most vulnerable, isolated, disadvantaged and elderly members of the Leyland and surrounding communities. From this we have developed services to become a community hub within our area. We support the community with a wide range of services, sessions, groups and projects. Some are open to all such as the Community Fridge or shop and others are tailored to specific groups such as Pre-School playgroups, Youth Support Initiative. This is not for profit and on a voluntary basis.
