The objects of the CIO are: 3.1. The Relief of Children and Young People: To relieve children and young people aged 0-18 residing in Greater Manchester and the North West, or any other UK location with similar needs, who are in need by reason of their youth, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage. 3 .2. Emotional Well-being and Development: To promote and support their emotional well-being, building resilience to overcome life challenges, and enhancing their capacity to manage social relationships at home, school, and within their communities 3.3. Support for Families: To provide grants and support to families of children and young people who are in need due to their youth, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage. 3.4. Provision of Services: To provide practical support, advice, guidance, and access to enriching experiences that facilitate social learning and the development of new skills among children and young people. 3.5. Specific Services: In particular, but not exclusively, the charity will provide a range of activities, including therapeutic adventures, residential projects, individual mentoring support, and group-based activities that promote emotional resilience and life skills development. 3.6. Definitions: - Children and Young People: Individuals aged 0-18 (Support may be extended to the families of children and young people when it primarily benefits a specific child or young person within the family). - Geographic Scope: Greater Manchester and the North West, including any counties sharing a boundary with a Greater Manchester town, namely Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria, and Merseyside - Emotional Well-being: Refers to aspects of an individual's psychological makeup affecting their capacity to recognize and manage emotions, their sense of self, and their ability to navigate social and psychological challenges. - Social Relationships: Interactions with others in society, such as siblings, parents, friends, schoolteachers, and classmates. - Therapeutic: Activities intrinsically or specifically designed to support individuals in coping with difficulties, particularly those related to emotional well-being. - Residential: Projects involving at least one overnight stay away from the child or young person's home.

At our Rochdale Hub, anyone in need can access free meals, hot drinks, showers, clean clothes, laundry facilities, and essential personal care items. In a typical year, our Hub sees close to 24,000 visits. Support often includes: - Rough sleeping support - around 185 instances of help for people sleeping on the streets - Housing advice and referrals - more than 1,300 sessions helping people move towards safe, stable accommodation - Meals and food support - over 14,800 meals, plus almost 1,500 food vouchers and more than 400 food parcels - Essential care - more than 1,100 showers, over 1,000 toiletries, 600 uses of our washing machines, and more than 1,500 items of clothing Beyond the Hub, we provide supported housing for over 200 residents, helping people build life skills, manage tenancies, and overcome the challenges that have shaped their lives. To support wellbeing and connection, we run inclusive social groups and nature‑based activities at our community allotment, PIER, where people can grow, learn, heal, and reconnect with others. Community partnerships, like our Changing Lives FC football sessions with Rochdale AFC, help people to keep healthy, grow in confidence and find opportunities for recovery and skills development. Together, we will end homelessness and create safe places where all people can flourish.

NWTAC aim to provide a creative arts 'hub' for the North West, providing an affordable working space, productions, classes and sessions for all within the community.
