Abbie's smile, sparkle and infectious enthusiasm lit up the room and that's exactly how Abbie wants people to remember and celebrate her life. Abbie (15) passed away on Christmas Day, 2017, after living with a rare form of Sarcoma for four years and four months. Christmas was Abbie's favourite day, she loved it, we believe that Abbie held on and chose the sparkliest day of the year to go. It was the sense of humour and laugh-out-loud mentality which set Abbie apart and meant she lived every moment to the full. Abbie was a vivacious and talented cheerleader who was hailed by medics as "incredible and a truly inspirational young women". One of Abbie's wishes is to raise money " towards hospitals and stuff" under the charity name Abbie's Sparkle Foundation. Abbie's Sparkle Foundation gained charity status on March 12 2018. Abbie has been spreading her sparkle in the way of gifts to raise a smile on the faces of Children affected by cancer. In October 2019 Abbie's Sparkle Lodge opened in Dalraddy Holiday Park near Aviemore. This is a Holiday Home Caravan for famlies with a child affected by cancer to have a no cost stay, to share fun times and make magical memories enjoying what the Cairngorms has to offer.

Every month we…. - Host over 50 supported trainees in our furniture upcycling & bike workshops, community garden, warehouses, shops and office. Trainees gain confidence, practical skills and qualifications, improve their employability and develop core skills including numeracy, literacy & digital skills. - Provide housing support to 244 people/ families, helping them gain & maintain stable tenancies. -Provide hundreds of free essential goods such as home starter packs, furniture, food boxes and bikes.

Formerly known as the MS Therapy Centre, our centre was purpose built by a group of local people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 1992 in order to support other people living with the condition. Since then, we have been providing practical, emotional and social support to all of our members who live with a wide range of medical conditions, ranging from MS, cancer and Parkinsons, through to cerebral palsy, diabetes and recovery from acute injury and illness. We offer access to a wide range of therapies, providing our members with the opportunity to better manage their symptoms. Members can benefit from a range of massage therapies, physiotherapy and specialist gym equipment and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). We are proud to have evolved into The Oxygen Works, which has been built on a strong track record of success and with the incredible commitment and support of our members, volunteers, funders and staff.
