How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Cadent has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Prostate Cancer UK

London, UK

Every 45 minutes a man dies of prostate cancer. A husband. A brother. A dad. Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in the UK with over 57,000 men diagnosed in 2018. In the UK, about 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives. There has been a legacy of neglect in funding prostate cancer research with no screening programme or accurate diagnostic test and there aren’t enough clinical nurse specialists available to help the 400,000 men living with prostate cancer in the UK. Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition – to stop prostate cancer being a killer. We fund groundbreaking research, drive improvements in treatment, and fight injustice in care. And our specialist nurses provide emotional and practical support for men and their families across the UK.
