Since 1988, Thornberry Animal Sanctuary has given hope to the thousands of abandoned or mistreated animals who have come through our gates. We aim to rehome as many as possible into secure, loving homes for the remainder of their lives, while caring for those that have to remain with us. Due to our “no kill” policy, unless the quality of life of a Thornberry animal deteriorates, it stays in the Sanctuary for life. We rely entirely on donations from members of the public, legacies and businesses for our continued survival, so it is thanks to the kindness of our supporters that we are able to do all this. We also carry out our own fundraising through events and our on-site shops. All donations, whether financial, volunteer time, sponsorship, or of items we can sell or raffle, are most gratefully received.
