Diversify Education and Communities CIC is all about promoting cultural diversity and inclusion in schools, businesses and the community. We promote cultural diversity and inclusion through a range of exciting resources, training workshops as well as support/signposting for those persons affected by racism or discrimination. We also provide a hot meals and food parcel distribution to persons in need within the Nottingham city area.

We are a non profit making organisation providing meals to our local community. With the donations from Aldi, M&S and Lidl we are now providing food parcels for our local community. Our aim, post pandemic, is for a social eating event each week in the hope of getting our local residents to meet up for a coffee and cake at least once a week.

Bestwood Park Nursery and Out of school club is based at Bestwood Park Community Centre, Situation in the heart of a community in North Nottingham, The community is diverse with many different nationalities. The area has high levels of social housing with some families starting to improve life quality by stepping into work and purchasing their homes. The area has limited community resources to support social inclusion. Service users come from many different backgrounds both economically and socially. Some of the service users are from complex, vulnerable situations that, without the service the nursery & out of school club offers, would suffer significant hardship. The childcare provision has been developed to fulfil a need within the community and to continue to support members of the local community to access a variety of activities based within the community Centre. The community has a high level of social deprivation and because of this, a greater need for nursery places for 2, 3 & 4year olds in receipt of government funding for early education. As the younger children access the nursery, parents can seek employment and training. Some of the families have older siblings that require childcare afterschool and in the school holidays, to enable the parents to work. Some parents require wrap around care for the younger children in receipt of the funding.
