How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, B&Q has donated money, products and volunteer time, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Hope Church, Crewe

Crewe, UK

Hope Church holds Sunday church meetings, Sunday school for Children and special services for Christmas, Easter and harvest which are open to all. We run prayer meetings and home groups to encourage Christians and have many outreach projects to bless the community. These include an asylum seeker and refugee drop in, a Ukrainian hub, a weekly youth club, schools and college work. There are also food distribution volunteers who pick up food to help those with needs without discrimination or stigma. We are part of Churches Together in Crewe (CTIC) and Love Crewe, and seek to be of benefit to the town by helping with CAP (Christians against Poverty), the Alpha Course and by contributing to the food bank. We collaborate with the Cheshire East Food Alliance and distribute food to referred individuals and those we know. Food is also distributed to people at Hope Cafe which is our refugee drop in and is available to those who attend Church on a Sunday, which touches a wide variety of people from different nationalities and parts of Crewe.
