Batley Food Bank is a registered charity. We collect food from the public and redistribute it to families in need, providing enough for the whole family, for three meals a day for one week. We work on a referral basis and now offer an advice and guidance service in partnership with Paddock Trust. If you are a resident of Batley or the surrounding areas and need to access the food bank, you can get a referral from the following organisations: - DWP or Job Coach - Sure Start centres - KNH Housing offices - Batley Comminitu Outreach - Kirklees Benefits Advice Service - School or Nursery - Support Worker - Social Worker - Addiction Services If you are usnure how to ghet help, ring us and we will will do our best to support you

Kirkwood Hospice opened on 18th March 1987. The Hospice provides specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, respecting their individual needs and wishes. Care and support is also provided for their family members, friends and carers, both during the illness and after death. Kirkwood Hospice is an independent hospice and a registered charity, (number 512987), Company Limited by Guarantee in England No. 1645888. We rely on the financial support of the public. Fusion Housing is a non-profit charity working to help individuals in Kirklees who are experiencing housing related problems and need support with learning and employment. Fusion Housing Food Bank April 2014 saw the launch of our Fusion Food Bank at Empire House in Dewsbury. Here, people can come for emergency food and toiletries in North Kirklees. The food bank works alongside other local charities including churches, mosques, schools and more. Please support our campaign.
