The Dunfermline Foodbank works on a voucher system, which are distributed by their local partner organisations. As of December 2013, the Dunfermline Foodbank has 120 partner organisations.

A new group of local mums have stepped forward to take over the running of the Dalgety Bay and Hillend Gala after the 2016 Gala Committee stepped down and appealed for new volunteers. We decided to take up the challenge when we realised that the Gala was at risk of coming to an end. We are passionate about keeping the Gala alive and are hoping the local community will get behind us and support us as it's a huge project but one we're all excited about. The Gala is traditionally a great day out for the whole family featuring attractions and the traditional procession which we want to bring back. This year we really want to get back into the heart of the community and ensure it's a great day out for the whole family
