Starbucks Broadwater Street West

As a group of local people and together with our colleagues at Worthing Fire Station we organise an annual event on Broadwater Green and at the Fire Station to raise funds for local good causes and the fire fighters charity. We invite charities and good causes each year to be considered for a donation from funds raised. The past few years the sum raised has been around £10,000.per year. On the day we have upwards of 150 stalls including charities, local groups such as the girlguides, sea cadets, cancer support and the local hospice who bring awareness and raise funds for their own needs. We also invite local business to highlight their services. It is a great community event with local groups entertaining the crowds with dancing and singing. At the Fire Station demonstrations take place highlighting safety awareness re fires and accident and they are joined by police and ambulance services. We would use any donation to pay for things such as a programme, road closures to keep the public safe and this coming year we would like to have an event mascot. Any remaining funds would go into the pot for distribution to our selected charities. We would welcome input from our local Starbucks store. We have a good relationship with them and They do support us locally with fund raising events that take place during the year. A donation of £1k would make you our biggest sponsors and as such we would be pleased to advertise that fact in our local community

We are an Equine Assisted Learning Centre based in West Sussex, UK, and a Registered Charity (no. 1205130). At Equine Partners, we believe that horses have a unique ability to help us see the world — and ourselves — in a different light. Through their calm presence and intuitive nature, they invite us to learn in a practical, hands-on way that's both deeply meaningful and great fun. We combine experiential Equine Learning, Natural Horsemanship, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and other therapeutic approaches in a unique way to support families, individuals and groups as they navigate life's challenges. Every young person or family is unique and so we provide unique bespoke programs for every one who visits us. Every session is tailored to the individual or family, allowing us to stay flexible and responsive to what's needed on any given day. This approach ensures we can adapt as our visitors grow, heal, and face new challenges — providing the right support as life unfolds. We are proud to be a West Sussex Alternative Learning Provider supporting young people who thrive best through hands-on, relational learning experiences. Young people also have the option to work towards certificates and personal goals — a fun and rewarding way to celebrate progress and focused learning, always with room for flexibility. We are always guided by the needs, wishes and readiness of the young person themselves. For many young people the confidence to undertake the challenge of gaining a certificate is a huge developmental step. We work closely with schools/LA to meet the EHCP needs of the child, EOTAS, Emotional Based School Refusal (EBSR/EBSNA), transitioning back into school, College preparation and Safeguarding a child out of school. We also provided training for Teachers around a variety of topics including Nerodiversity, Masking, Regulation, Teenage Brain and many more topics as required, both in schools and at our yard. Equine Partners also offers a variety of Volunteering & Mentorship Opportunities for both teenagers and adults — a wonderful way to learn new skills, build confidence, and connect with our herd and community.
