A Smile for a Child

Our charity is a small grant giving charity. We help disabled and disadvantaged children in the UK to participate and progress in sport. This is done via mainly small grants to help buy much needed equipment. Here's a really wonderful example of a child we have empowered to benefit from the joy of sport. Beatrice is a fantastic seven year old, full of the joy of life. She has SMA, which could prevent her from living a full life if she was deprived of essential equipment. This is where A Smile for a Child comes in – we have recently fully funded a new powered chair for her at a cost of £24,000! This has helped her keep her independence, keep up with her peers and enjoy everything life has to offer. Beatrice parents told us - We will never, ever be able to thank them enough xx Our team's drive and enthusiasm has driven the charity forward with help from many friends of the charity. We rely on volunteer collectors to support our inspiring work. Without our wonderful team, the charity could not have helped so many children and we can not thank you enough.
