Coventry Pride

Coventry, UK

Coventry Pride works to promote equality and diversity, in particular the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity. Registered as a charity in 2015, we aim to raise public awareness with regard to all aspects of discrimination in society and issues and difficulties affecting the lives of the LGBT+ community. Pride is a vital movement for human rights and equality around the world. We seek to increase the visibility of Coventry Pride so that anyone who might need us knows about us. A key aspect of our work is the annual Pride Festival, which is both a celebration and an educational event. We are seeking your support to help us host a bigger and better Pride Festival and Parade in 2017. The Coventry Pride Festival, first held in 2015, is all-inclusive regardless of gender, age, race, sexual orientation or gender identity and is designed to celebrate LGBT+ life. It is important that Pride is accessible to all, so the event is free in order that everyone can experience it.
