The Yard is an award-winning charity running adventure play services for disabled children, young people and their families in Scotland. We offer disabled children and their siblings the chance to experience creative, adventurous indoor and outdoor play in a well-supported environment. Since we opened in 1986, our services have grown significantly, but we will always retain our holistic approach and ethos of a child-centred and child-led play service.

St Crispin's is a special school in Edinburgh, Scotland. As the Support Friends of St Crispin's, we raise funds to help support our school pupils in any way we can. Our school offers education for both primary and secondary aged pupils. Our pupils have long term additional support needs, where learners require a significantly modified learning environment. Needs of learners are primarily associated with learning disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder. The school serves a wide area with pupils travelling from all parts of the city plus a small number from surrounding areas. Any support you can give is warmly appreciated.

We fund exceptional equipment, exemplary facilities and resources, and innovative research and training over and above NHS provision to create a world-class environment of care and support to children, young people and their families. Each year we need to raise around £1.5 million to help children and families at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children and in the local community. We receive no government funding so all of our vital work relies solely on donations from members of the public, community organisations, companies and trusts & foundations.
