The Girls Musical

Leeds, UK

The Opportunity Gary Barlow and Tim Firth's musical, 'The Girls', is based on the true story of the Calendar Girls - the ordinary Yorkshire women of the WI who did something extraordinary. Bloodwise have been offered the opportunity to carry out charity collections after each performance of the show which is great news! This is a fantastic opportunity to both fuse the show and Bloodwise together and we're delighted and hugely grateful that Bloodwise will benefit from the show. The musical will run in Leeds from 14 November - 12 December 2015 at the Grand Theatre and Opera House and we are seeking the help of volunteers following each performance. Volunteers will be required to carry out buckets collections at the theatre for approximately 30 minutes following matinee (5pm collection) and evening (10pm collection) performances. If you are interested in getting involved on one or multiple dates please email Lauren Fraser on lfraser@bloodwise.org.uk or call 0191 338 7470. About Bloodwise We’re here to beat blood cancer. We stop people dying from blood cancer, we make patient’s lives better and we stop people getting blood cancer in the first place. We research. We help. We campaign. We share learning.
