Planting for the Cramond Community

We are Cramond Playgroup, a registered charity working with children across the local area. We're based in Cramond Kirk Hall and have access to a small paved area outside of the hall. A long time ago someone kindly gifted to us a number of large planters so that children from playgroup and the older residents of Cramond who use the hall as a meeting place could plant flowers together. Sadly we aren't able to use them as they have to be moveable and the casters have fallen off, As it's a small space it means that we can't squeeze the planters and people on the patio together at present. They're also too tall so our children (many of which are aged 2 or 3) can't reach. Our project will secure new planters and materials to create opportunities for the community to plant flowers for everyone to enjoy. They'll be moveable so that we will still be able to welcome older people into the patio during the Summer. This project epitomises the ideals of being neighbourly - doing something together for the whole community to enjoy.
