At Noah’s Ark we help babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families, make the most of every day. And we support those who die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by family. We provide exceptional care, organise fun activities and days out, and help families do things they never thought possible. We are here to enable those we support to enjoy life as children, rather than as patients; as families, not just as carers. We serve communities across north and central London, as well as Herts Valley, working in partnership with key NHS trusts.

The Enrichment Programme aims to encourage and facilitate charity-work in young people statistically least likely to partake (socially excluded). 

It focuses on developing social-awareness; empathy; self-esteem; and employability skills. Students are offered insight into social crises effecting young people's rights; followed by education on ways to tackle this problem; and experience of delivering these solutions within their local communities. The causes worked on support a variety of childrens homes and specialist health care centre’s. The primary purpose of this project is to introduce feeling good from 'helping behaviours' to the young people on the programme, who are likely to be in cycles of negative behaviours and negative responses. 
 The programme is run by one manager and a small group of session workers, who are most often recruited from previous programmes (and therefore previously socially excluded youth with a variety of problematic histories). Funding is required to train these session workers in safety and skills in behaviour management; improving receptivity and acknowledgement of results in young people.Key areas will include accreditation. This will a)improve quality of programme delivery to new young people to ensure consistency and high quality interactions for young people on the programme (important when working with young people with a variety of social and behavioural needs); and b) through training in social issues, child protection and behavioural management, to encourage these session workers (previously socially excluded young people) to explore their histories with knowledge and coping mechanisms; and then to apply this in a positive way to help others.
