Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice
London, UK
Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice is a registered charity that offers free specialist end of life care to approximately 2,500 adults with terminal illness living in the London boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley each year. It is the foremost provider of specialist palliative care in Greenwich and Bexley and, for more than 20 years, has championed quality and choice in end of life care. Its catchment area covers an area of approximately 40 square miles and a population of over 500,000. The Hospice does not charge for its services, and only one third of its funding comes from the NHS, which means the Hospice has to rely on the support of local people, businesses, community groups and its network of 17 shops to raise £4million annually to continue its work. Thank you for helping us to continue providing free specialist end of life care.
