We provide foster homes for children and young people who can no longer live with their families. The children we find families for have had difficult starts in life. Some have experienced traumatic childhoods. Our foster carers provide loving and stable homes to children, they give them security, stability and a safe place to call home. The children are encouraged to play, learn and try new things. We are looking to organise a number of participation events throughout the year to provide children and young people with opportunities to experience new things that they may not otherwise have had an opportunity to do, which we hope in turn will also support them in building their confidence, self-esteem and support with their social and emotional development. These events will also give children and young people an opportunity to share their views about their experiences in care and contribute to the development of the service.
