PARC was developed by a group of parents to create support and play opportunities for children with additional and special educational needs. One of these opportunities is a 3K Mini Marathon that empowers our children who are under five years old to take part in a fun and inspiring walk around Great Notley Country Park. Our under 5's suffer from a range of life limiting illnesses and also disabilities. The 3K walk, which was completed for the first time last year, challenges the children on many levels not just physically but mentally. There is a super hero theme because we feel all our children are super heroes in their strength to carry out every day tasks.
