EACH's the nook appeal
Wymondham, UK
Once built, the nook will transform our care to meet the changing needs of children and help us meet the increasing demand for our services. The nook will have: • a far larger care area, all on a single floor • more areas for clinical care and improved medical and nursing equipment • fantastic activity areas for arts, crafts and play • a hydrotherapy pool – something we don’t have the space for at Quidenham • a large state-of-the-art sensory room • dedicated therapy rooms and music studio • larger and better equipped en-suite bedrooms for children and young people • en-suite family accommodation rooms • far more outside space for children to safely play and explore • a special quiet haven area for families • facilities for family support groups, counselling, therapies and activities. Since its launch in November 2014, supported by our Patron HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, the nook appeal has secured £3.5 million with a further £6.5 million needed to make this much-needed facility a reality. We rely on donations for the majority of the income needed to deliver our services and all the funds required to build the nook. We need help from individual giving, trusts, events, and corporate and community fundraising. We need everyone to help in whatever way they can. A large way in which the local business community has been supporting us, is through our nook business network. We are looking for companies to commit to raising either £10,000, £15,000 or £25,000 over the duration of our appeal, and to consequently create a Norfolk network that will help those who need it most. In addition to our Nook Business Network, we are looking for businesses to fundraise for us, donate to us, or choose us as their Charity of the Year - all to help us near our £10million target.
