North London Deaf Children’s Society supports familes with the social, welfare, education, medical and technological aspects of deafness in children. Our members include families with deaf children living in north London and professionals concerned with the welfare and education of deaf children. The children we support have differing degrees of hearing impairment, from partially to profoundly deaf. We organise events and outings to bring families together to encourage friendship and mutual support. The Society also arranges talks on welfare, education and medical issues. Our regular newsletter - Deaf Matters - provides information about these and other local events and items of interest. Through our links with NDCS, we provide impartial advice about matters affecting the lives of deaf children and their families.
