The Tiny Lives Appeal aims to raise £1 million for the neonatal unit for state of the art and life-saving equipment which will ensure that each baby will have the best outcome possible. Babies on the neonatal unit are faced with many obstacles in the first few weeks of their life and due to their extreme vulnerability, complications can develop rapidly; changing a baby’s condition from relatively stable to acutely ill within a very short space of time. Because of this, it’s more vital than ever that the incredibly dedicated medical team have the best equipment on hand to respond quickly and effectively. The Tiny Lives Appeal will fund specialist and life-saving equipment like incubators and ventilators, as well as warming mattresses and easy chairs.
