The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity ~SuperJosh
Bury, UK
The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity aka SuperJosh We help children & their families living with brain tumours, post surgery disabilities and others along Josh's journey in his legacy. Thanks to so many amazing sponsors, donations & volunteers we are able to help families with practical, financial & emotional support. Josh was diagnosed in 2004 with a brain stem tumour and given weeks to live, life saving surgery resulted in him having severe post surgery disabilities. Dawn & Josh's Dad Colin, began a new journey with their gorgeous boy, in a world of endless challenges & fundraising for house adaptations and equipment. After an almost 10 year journey Josh and his Mum Dawn launched their charity The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity in 2013, to start to help other families living with brain tumours. Josh was so so proud of his charity and was empowered by helping other children and young people through his fundraising. Sadly Josh passed away in the following November of 2014. He leaves an incredible legacy that to date has raised over £550,000 helping to support over 1,700 families.
