How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Royal Bank of Scotland has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Fields in Trust

London, UK

Access to green space is a right, not a privilege, yet 94% of publicly accessible parks, playgrounds, playing fields and green spaces in the UK remain unprotected and are increasingly under threat. At a time of rising health inequalities, loneliness, climate pressures and nature loss, green spaces are essential community assets that support physical and mental wellbeing, strengthen social connections and help communities thrive. Planning reforms and under-resourced local councils are placing green spaces at further risk and it’s happening at a time when we know (with evidence and data) that access to green space saves the NHS millions, strengthens communities and has a positive impact on our climate. Fields in Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to protecting parks and green spaces forever. We work across the UK with local authorities and landowners to secure legally binding protection for parks, playgrounds, playing fields and green spaces, ensuring they can never be lost to development. To date we have secured over 3,000 spaces resulting in more than 9.4 million people living within a 10-minute walk of a legally protected park or green space. Alongside this, we are working on systematic changes, providing trusted evidence and insight, influencing policy and advocating for a future where everyone can benefit from access to high-quality green space.

Open Door Scotland

Livingston, UK

We provide temporary accommodation to homeless young people. While staying with us, young people are provided with a key worker for one to one support and the opportunity to participate in group work. We aim to support them to gain the skills to live independently when they move into their own tenancy, and also use a holistic approach to help them overcome any barriers to fulfilling their potential they may have.
