Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.
Through Neighbourly, Intact Insurance has donated money, products and volunteer time, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.
Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.
Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.
Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.
Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

We are a two form entry primary school and large nursery based in Finsbury Park, London. We want to make our school the best possible place it can be for our children. We want to decorate areas and develop our gardens and playgrounds. We want to develop more green spaces and get children involved in doing so. We also want to support our community and families through the cost of living crisis. We have a food bank within school which is very well utilised by many of our families.

YMCA Ventura House offers short-term supported housing for individuals who have faced the challenges of homelessness. We provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment for up to 106 residents, helping them rebuild their lives and work towards a brighter future. Our programme is designed to equip residents with the life skills they need to live independently, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and time management. We also offer access to volunteering, education, and employment opportunities to help residents gain confidence and reintegrate into the community. In addition to practical support, we provide in-house counselling services to promote emotional and mental well-being. Our team works closely with each resident to offer tailored support, ensuring they are empowered to overcome challenges and create lasting positive change. At YMCA Ventura House, we’re committed to fostering social inclusion and providing a pathway for individuals to regain independence, build meaningful connections, and create a better future for themselves.

Thank you for signing up to Intact Insurance’s employee volunteering programme! Generosity is one of our values that enables us and empowers you to help others and build resilient communities. There’s an employee volunteering opportunity for everyone and it’s easy to get involved. You have two days, or 14 hours, a year to volunteer in work time to help a good cause or charity. As long as your volunteering has been organised through Neighbourly, we’ll also donate £25 for each employee volunteer. Please note that you will need to complete a risk assessment for events that involve a potential risk to employees, which you will find in the ‘Useful Documents’ section below.
