REHOBOTH COMMUNITY OUTREACH CLUB located 1-18 Allwood Close, Sydenham SE26 4JP is a charity and it has been entered onto the Register of Charities with the Registered Charity Number 1168822. Rehoboth Community Outreach club started reaching out to vulnerable families in 2013, offering befriending, parenting & life skills training. Over time the services evolved expanding to offer mentoring to young people, employment skills training and a food bank. In March 2014 Rehoboth started receiving requests for support with addressing the increasing issue of food poverty amongst the single homeless living in hostels and the local street homeless, this saw the launch of the Community Lunch Club. Initially the lunch club was feeding 20 people every Monday with a 2 course hot meal. But this number quickly grew to 150 people a week when Rehoboth partnered with Miriam Lodge providing meals to their most vulnerable homeless residents. The partnership has expanded and Rehoboth community outreach club “The Lunch Club” now deliver 200 meals every Monday across 2 hostels. In addition, we have some homeless people living locally in the community who walk-in and collect their meals. The feeding programme also provides a soup social, with home cooked vegetable and chicken soup with rolls to the residents in the hostels on a Friday. The generosity of our local donors business and others in neighbouring community, with financial donations from the church membership and individuals, make it possible to provide our services free to vulnerable individuals and families. The community outreach service is facilitated by a team of 25 volunteers who cook, serve food, clean, deliver the meals, and provide the befriending, mentoring and training activities. Rehoboth hopes to double its feeding programme to 300 meals a week by the end of 2018; to support at least 50 homeless people to capacity build their employment and life skills, enhancing their potential of accessing employment, education and training opportunities. The Rehoboth Community Outreach Club aims are to contribute to breaking the generational cycle of poverty and deprivation within families, inspire hope & healing in the heart and soul of vulnerable individuals and communities and encourage peace, unity and respect across generations. We seek and appreciate further financial, time and resource donations that enable us to meet our vision of UK communities free from food poverty and benefiting from sustained upward social and economic mobility for everyone. The bright morning star prisons and homelessness outreach is an award winning, non for profit organisation that has been service Londoners since 2015, Our aims and objectives is the relief and prevention poverty and homelessness across London. The organisation is doing this by running community outreach, Day centre's, coffee morning and Prisons visits to His Majesty Prisons across London. The Bright Morning Star Prisons And Homelessness Outreach head office is Chartharm Court community hall, Canterbury crescent Brixton SW9 7PT. The Day Centre is 1 Opal Street Peddlar Acre Community hall, Kennighton SE11 4HZ Although the organization in base in Lambeth but we Outreach to Homeless, rough sleepers and Prisons inmates in Southwark, Wandsworth, Croydon, West Minister Councils. and Stratford. Our organisation is a first point contact for ex offenders, rough sleepers and the homeless to get support for reintegration after they left prison. We run 5 days a week with the help of our dedicated volunteers, management and staff. The bms activities include coffee morning, food sharing community food service, , food pick up and distribution, prison visit, outreaches, housing advice, benefit advice, sign posting, trainings. art and craft, one to one counselling service and mediating between landlord and tenants. We support, elevate and help to rebuild the lives of the the most vulnerable people in London eg older people, job seekers, those on low income, Assylum seekers, refuges and the homeless people etc. The BMS is a Registered Contractor to Lambeth Council and community hall that we are using in Chartham court belong to the Council that has seen the good work that we do and offer us the space to use. we use the hall 7 days a week for the past 2 years. The Council refurbished the hall and launching was done in August 2025. We continue to partners with Job Centres that attend day centre in Kennington, Streatham and Kennington Job Centre twice a Month, Hygiene Bank, Greggs food Foundation cooperative stores, Pret A Manger Look Ahead homeless shelter, Stockwell probation services, Wandsworth Probation, and healthy living platform Lambeth, Felix Project and Fares hare, St Mathew Estate, Mursel hall, Cooperative store etc

A project that redirects food and resources to reduce waste, support people and build community! We collect surplus food and other items from around Edinburgh and beyond, sourcing items from various supermarkets, companies, and universities that would otherwise end up in landfill, and redistribute them to those on low incomes or those living below the poverty line. This includes families, refugees, the homeless, students, and the elderly etc. We also give to community centres, homeless hostels, women's refuge centres, refugee organisations, and other community projects. In addition we have a community café to bring the community together with activities, and provide freshly cooked food with what we have collected. As well as helping with financial and nutritional deficiencies, we alleviate loneliness and improve mental health conditions. We operate from a community centre where the space is also used as a Coorie-in (registered warm space). I was recently awarded a volunteer award, and the community have been so grateful for what Goodies has done so far for those struggling with poverty and loneliness. We identify people who re in need through recommendations from homeless hostels, and other organisations. Also we are very familiar with our community and what their state is. Users of the service are welcome to donate, but it's not necessary and many cannot.
