We work with local stores and distribution centres that have quality surplus to give to groups that can put it to good use in the community. We’ve supported the donation of millions of meals from companies like M&S, Lidl, Aldi, Danone and Innocent. The surplus and our services are completely free for good causes.
“I really can't speak highly enough about the staff and service that we receive. The variety and quality of the donations make such a difference to our clients.”
Via Wings, Dromore
“The surplus that we receive allows us to run a small cooking group, meaning our clients get to eat at least one meal each week.”
How it works
Create a page for your organisation on Neighbourly, adding surplus donations as one of your goals.
Add your FSA rating 3 or above and/or Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, dated within the last 2.5 years.
Our team will match you with stores in your area, or add your organisation to the waiting list.
You’ll receive a notification that surplus is available from your partner store. If you can’t collect, let us know and we can reallocate to save waste.
We work with businesses that have funds to donate to good causes, either from central grants or through local fundraising. We provide a managed service for businesses so that 100% of the money donated goes directly to your organisation.
“Neighbourly has been a really great support to us. We’ve received donations from Starbucks and Heineken as well as food donations and volunteers.”
The Crash Pad, London
“We so appreciate the funding we received from TK Maxx and will be able to fulfill our dream of completing our beach school training and provide more tools for our cleans and events.”
D&G Eco Warriors, Dumfries & Galloway
How it works
Create a page for your charity on Neighbourly, adding fundraising as one of your goals.
We’ll look to match your organisation with one of our grant programmes, or a local branch that would like to fundraise for you.
When the funds are ready to donate, our team will be in touch to ask you to apply and provide your payment details.
We’ll verify your application and then the donation will be paid to your organisation.
Whether you need skills-based support or practical help with a garden makeover or river clean, we work with hundreds of offices and store locations across the UK and Ireland that have time to give. Tell us what help you need and we can find the right teams to support you.
“The volunteers were great – very positive and hardworking it was lovely to have them here. We’re looking forward to a good relationship in the future.”
Cree Centre, Grantham
“Thanks so much to the team for giving up their time to help create an inspiring place to learn. The staff are thrilled by the impact it has had on the children's sense of pride, responsibility and attitude towards their local community.”
Newbridge Primary School, Bath
How it works
Create a page for your charity on Neighbourly, adding volunteering as one of your goals.
We’ll look to match your organisation with one of our volunteering programmes, or with an ad hoc offer from a local team.
We’ll connect you with your volunteers through the platform, and make sure everything runs smoothly.
Your volunteers will meet you on the day (remotely or in person) to support you with your tasks and get to know your organisation better.
